Foreign Minister Gil thanks Russia's support for “the solid voting system” in Venezuela

The Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, thanked the statements of the spokeswoman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, María Zajárova, who praised the electoral process held this Sunday, May 25 in Venezuela.

On behalf of President Nicolás Maduro, through his social networks, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister thanked “the Russian Government for its attentive observation of these elections and for its support for the solid voting system that characterizes Venezuela.”

He stressed that “this great revolutionary victory not only strengthens our democracy, but also opens up new opportunities to promote unity and brotherhood with the Russian people in our shared struggle for a more equitable and multipolar world.”
