The Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, accompanied the Cuban diplomatic corps in a wreath before the sarcophagus of the Liberator Simon Bolivar, on the occasion of the 66th anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution.

In this regard, he specified that on January 1, 1959, “those men and women taught the world and pointed out to the world a path of dignity, a path of sovereignty, a path of peace, a path of building the new and since that time 66 years ago, Cuba has remained firm.”

He also indicated that Cuba has taught the entire world what solidarity is, internationalism and what it is to be on the side of the Latin American peoples in all circumstances.

“The Cuban Revolution is that beacon that illuminated the path that sets us free today in a world where we are going to face difficulties and complexities. This year 2025, precisely, the Cuban Revolution will continue to be that beacon of light, that beacon of knowledge, that political guide.”
