Foreign Minister Yván Gil reviewed commercial and diplomatic cooperation with Ambassador of Türkiye

The Minister of People's
Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, held a
meeting this Tuesday with the ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye accredited to the
Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Aydan Karamanoğlu, to strengthen cooperation and friendship, in addition to reviewing trade relations.
Through his Telegram
channel, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister described the meeting as
“extremely productive” and explained that they reviewed “the ties of cooperation that
have experienced exponential growth in recent years, especially
in the areas of trade and multilateral diplomacy.” He stressed that “this progress
is the result of the joint efforts of our governments and peoples.”
This Monday,
during the 70th edition of his Con Maduro+ program, President Nicolás
Maduro announced the nation's participation in the International Expoferia
Made in Venezuela, which will take place in Türkiye, and which will mark a milestone in trade
relations between both countries, with the strengthening of exchange and investment.
“The presence of hundreds of Venezuelan businessmen is
being prepared in Türkiye,
with the objective of doing business and signing contracts, as well as increasing the export
capacity and will of the Venezuelan economy and attracting Turkish
investors in technology,” said the Head of State.
Relations
between Caracas and Ankara have strengthened in recent years, due to high-level
visits by delegations from both States. This 2025
will celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations, within the framework of the construction
of a solid bilateral relationship, based on mutual respect.
