The former rector of the Central University of Venezuela (UCV), Luis Fuenmayor Toro, criticized the absence of the former candidate of the extreme right, Edmundo González Urrutia, before the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), to present evidence of the alleged fraud in the presidential elections of last July 28.

The academic called the extremist representative absurd because despite not appearing in the country's highest court, he intends to urge citizens to take to the streets while he is hiding and María Corina Machado tries to create chaos.

“You can't be calling people to the streets to defend the vote and you, who are the supposedly winning candidate with a lot of votes, stand aside,” Fuenmayor Toro said, assuring that González Urrutia “should have attended the Electoral Hall to present your evidence,” quoted Venezuela News.

Finally, he pointed out that the extremist leaders did not demonstrate in the streets when they made the call, only the disqualified Machado came, and in an unknown way.
