The National Fire of the National and Paranational Sports Games arrived in Nueva Esparta, an entity that will participate in the sports event with more than a thousand athletes.
The pot was lit by the Olympic athlete Edgar “Apolón” Muñoz, who highlighted the importance of sports for the people. “Very happy that these activities continue and that we continue to carry the message to the population of the Neo-Spartan people and of Venezuela that to play sports is to make a homeland, as our Liberator said.”
To date, the torch has traveled through 15 states of the country. El Fuego Patrio will continue its journey to the state of La Guaira
