The Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (FUNDACITE) in the state of Bolivar, reaffirming its commitment to comprehensive education and sustainable development, visited the Rafael Pineda National High School, located in the Dalla Costa parish of the Caroní municipality, to strengthen school and community agriculture.
The activity, according to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology, focused on the reactivation of the School Garden, an initiative directly linked to the national program All Hands to Sowing.
During the day, a large batch of seeds was delivered and specialized technical advice was provided to students and teachers to ensure the correct implementation of sustainable agroecological practices.
The School Garden is conceived as a learning center that promotes the exchange of community knowledge, inculcates fundamental values such as environmental responsibility and cooperative work, and directly contributes to food security and sovereignty in the area.
