FVF and Liga FUTVE strongly condemn fan behavior in the Classic (+statement)

The Venezuelan Football Federation (FVF) and the Venezuelan Football League (FUTVE League) regret the incident that occurred in the classic Deportivo Táchira and Caracas FC on the last date of the final phase of the Claadura Tournament.

Through a joint statement published on their social networks, both instances strongly condemned the behavior of the fans.

“We deeply regret that the Venezuelan Football Classic played this evening (November 12) was marred by the reprehensible action of a group of fans who invaded the field a few minutes before the end of regular time,” the text states.

It also states that the competent bodies will carry out the relevant investigations and will establish the corresponding responsibilities in the face of what happened. “The match was over, in accordance with current regulations,” he adds.

“We strongly condemn this type of behavior that, although isolated and infrequent, cannot be tolerated or allowed in our sport under any circumstances,” he says.

They also called for reflection so that these episodes, which had remained in the past, are never repeated in our national football.
