FVF rejects any act of violence in Venezuelan football (+statement)

The Venezuelan Football Federation (FVF) categorically rejects any act of violence or intimidation against referees, players, coaches or any member of our sports ecosystem.

In a statement published on its social networks, the FVF emphasized that refereeing is a fundamental task for the development of football and those who exercise it deserve respect, protection and guarantees to carry out their work independently.

“No sporting dissatisfaction can justify behavior that jeopardizes the integrity of people, their property or the spirit of the game,” he said.

In addition, the FVF reaffirmed its commitment to integrity, order and respect on and off the court, and calls on the entire football family - fans, clubs and tournament players - to maintain an exemplary behavior that represents the values of our sport.

“Venezuelan football is built with passion, but also with responsibility. There is no room for violence,” he reiterated.
