The G7 countries are finalizing the details of a 50 billion dollar loan for Ukraine, for which the assets frozen to the Russian Federation will be used, the Secretary of State of the United States (USA), Antony Blinken announced on Tuesday.

Blinken said at a press conference that “in our support for Ukraine, we are also finalizing the outflow of 50 billion dollars that had been obtained based on frozen Russian sovereign assets.”

Likewise, the Secretary of State also stated that the “G7 partners pledged their strong support to Ukraine until 2025".

“What we are determined to do, in what's left of this (American) administration, is to do everything possible to ensure that Ukraine has what it needs to be able, as I said, to fight until 2025 if necessary or, if there is a negotiation, to be able to negotiate from a position of strength,” he said.
