Gabriela Cortesía de Nueva Esparta climbed to the top of the podium in the ball throwing test at the III National Community Sports Games.

In the competition held at the Metropolitan Stadium in Mérida, Cortesía won the gold with a record record of 63.68 meters that he achieved in his last attempt.

The silver metal was left in the hands of Luisberlis Rivas de Aragua from Aragua, with a launch that reached 63.20 meters. While the bronze one went to Carabobeña Fabiana Peña with a valid attempt of 62.39 meters.

In men's, Cristian Mudarra from Sucrense won a gold medal when he threw the ball a distance of 98.26 meters to win gold. He was escorted by Anthony Álvarez Mejía from Anzoatigua with a record of 86.08 meters for the silver one and Deiker García from Merida with a mark of 84.32 meters with the bronze one.
