Gabriela Jiménez: Venezuela celebrates its 32nd election in 26 years of democracy

The Sectorial Vice President of Science, Technology, Education and Health, Gabriela Jiménez, exercised her right to vote in the state of La Guaira and highlighted the importance of this election day as a milestone in the country's democratic history.
“Today Venezuela celebrates its 32nd election in 26 years of participatory and leading democracy. We came to vote as a family out of love for our country, for the sovereignty and future of Venezuela. Today we also elected our first governor of Guiana Esequiba, marking a historic moment of citizen participation,” said Jiménez.
In addition, the sector vice-president emphasized the commitment of the Venezuelan people to the defense of peace and national sovereignty through democratic exercise. “With willingness and unity, we protect and defend the peace of Venezuela,” he said.
He stressed that the electoral process is progressing normally in the country, with significant citizen participation, reflecting the roots of democracy as a fundamental pillar of the nation.
