The Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda, Gaston Browne, expressed the importance of maintaining that region as a zone of peace in order to avoid military intervention in villages.

During the XXVI Summit of ALBA TCP, he indicated that member countries must seek an alternative to the challenges posed by the global energy war.

“We must also increase trade between the ALBA-TCP countries, in addition to the tourism sector as part of strengthening the region, as well as the climate crisis, which is a global challenge,” he said.

He ratified his recognition of President Nicolás Maduro and his democracy while rejecting the violence that wants to implement fascism in governments that are sovereign and independent.

“Let us continue to unite to promote this movement (ALBA-TCP) to continue to be an example for the world,” he urged.
