GDC advances in drain cleaning work in the Las Casitas de La Vega sector

The Capital District Government (GDC) is cleaning drains in the Las Casitas sector of La Vega parish, after the recent rains.
The information was released through a post made on the Instagram account of the head of Government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernández, who explained that an exhaustive inspection of the current situation is being carried out, after heavy rainfall.
He specified that HIDROCAPITAL crews are verifying the condition of the water pipes that are clogged, while calling on the population to avoid throwing garbage in the streets and drains.
Finally, he added that these cleaning tasks are also being carried out in the Araguaney, Los Encanto and sector “B”, as well as in the Los Paraparos desander, which overflowed yesterday.
