GDC delivered rehabilitation of West Avenue 6 in downtown Caracas

This Wednesday, West Avenue 6 was handed over in downtown Caracas, after the rehabilitation of 765 meters of viability.
The delivery was given by the head of Government of Caracas (GDC), Nahum Fernández, who pointed out that these improvements are part of the program Together Everything Is Possible, implemented within the framework of the Plan for Transformation and Renewal of the Nation, aimed at improving the quality of life of Venezuelans, and guided by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
The rehabilitation included the intervention of the Zingg Passage and the tunnel on the Reducto a La Bolsa corner, as well as luminaires, cycle roads, facades and landscaping in this sector of the city.
“This rehabilitation work benefits 35,000 people who travel daily through this area belonging to the La Catedral parish,” said the head of the GDC in his publication.
As for the road works carried out, he specified that these included “the scarification of 583.42 m², the installation of 80 tons of asphalt and 774 cat eyes, as well as the leveling, recovery and replacement of 228 frames and bodies of fences. 1,830 meters of boulders were also covered and painted, 532 m² of granite and 34 m³ of sidewalks were demolished,” he explained on the social network.
It also recovered 100% of the road cycle, with 1,563 meters of demarcation, as well as the entire electrical system comprising 2,500 meters of cable and the replacement of 576 luminaires on the Camejo, San Francisco and Ávila boulevards of West Avenue 6.
