General Police Council promotes the organization of Committees in the La Guaira Airport Neighborhood

The Directorate of Popular Power Participation of the General Police Council held a community meeting in the United Blocks 1 and 2 circuit, Airport 368 in the Airport neighborhood in La Guaira, with the objective of promoting and disseminating the organization of the Citizens Police Control Committees (CCCP).

During the meeting, residents were invited to participate in a five-module training process that will train those who want to integrate the CCCP in their respective quadrant.

It should be noted that the Citizens Police Control Committees are spaces for community participation that allow citizens to work hand in hand with the authorities to ensure safety and well-being in their sectors, CCCP press reports.

This type of training activity of the General Police Council seeks to strengthen citizen participation and promote a culture of collaboration between the community and the security forces of the Venezuelan State.
