The president of the People's Electoral Movement (MEP), and member of the National Assembly (AN), Gilberto Giménez Prieto, assured that Venezuela is currently the victim of a systematic attack, an example of which are the statements made by the president of Guyana, Irfaan Ali.
He argued that with his statements, Irfaan Ali, “I was only looking for two things: a camera, because I had not been in the media for a while, and the second thing is to create a false flag scenario to create an altercation in the coming days and thus an escalation of aggression against Venezuela and thus sell ourselves as the aggressors.”
He stressed that this government, like its master, the United States, wants to sell to the world the narrative that there is “a dictatorial regime in the country, but we are truly a democratic country that consults the People even on the projects that will be carried out in the communities, consultation after consultation.”
In the Al Aire program, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), he highlighted the international scene and said he is in shock, since “there are countries in the world that have a cork patent for violating regulations, first of all the fundamental principle of international public law, the United Nations charter and the tacit agreements that must exist for healthy coexistence between countries”.
He also said that there are countries that want to impose themselves on others and an example of this is “the Zionist State of Israel and its favorite ally: the United States and it seems that the world forgets everything that the war has done to humanity”.
He also criticized that the competent bodies in this matter have become silent accomplices. “The (United Nations) UN works perfectly for absolutely nothing and it's been proven,” he said.
He explained that the world order and the UN were born after the Second World War and that world was created for a rearrangement and thus seeking that the leading countries regain a status, “but that world is no longer the same today”.
“Today Venezuela is part of an International Organization for Mediation, which was sanctioned as a law before the National Assembly and which was born as an alternate body to the bodies that already exist, because of their urgent need because those that are getting too big the world and are only there to serve the United States,” he stressed.
