During the night of this Thursday, the Sectorial Vice President for Policy, Citizen Security and Peace, Captain Diosdado Cabello, led the reception of a group of Venezuelan migrants who were in the Guantánamo prison, with no other cause than that of being undocumented Latin Americans in the United States.

Upon their arrival in the country, there were many expressions of joy on the part of this group of Venezuelans who, when they set foot on their homeland, sang the National Anthem as a demonstration of love for the land where they were born and where their family origins are.
“They are coming to a second or third chance in life and it has a lot to do with the fact that there is a Revolution here,” said Cabello, who stressed that since 2018, President Nicolás Maduro created the Plan Back to the Fatherland.
