GNB apprehended six people linked to drug trafficking

According to information released by members of the Bolivarian National Guard, six people linked to drug trafficking were arrested this weekend in Maracaibo.
The first case took place in the El Mamón neighborhood, located in the Idelfonso Vásquez parish, where the uniformed men captured two women, who were in their possession of five doses, “a type of cigarette of a presumed drug called marijuana that yielded a net weight of 320 grams”.
While the second incident occurred when the officers of Detachment 111 together with Uria-11 Zulia arrested two men and one woman, who were engaged in the sale and distribution of drugs in the Amparo and Monte Santo sector, of the Cacique Mara parish.
During the procedure, five doses of cocaine, weighing approximately 66 grams, were seized.
“Hours later, a third procedure was carried out in the Amparo Sector, when the national guards arrested a woman identified as Yasmira Mieres, 30 years old, who had a wrapper of presumed marijuana weighing approximately 80 grams seized,” reported a well-known national newspaper.
