Gobernador Luna: Pueblo Monaguense and the FANB are ready to act under any circumstances

The governor of the state of Monagas, Ernesto Luna, reported that the process of territorial redistribution of the defense, justice and social assistance system in the state has been completed, allowing for the expansion of the coverage of the Peace Quadrants.

“The people of Monagua, together with their police forces and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), are prepared to act under any circumstance, fulfilling the task of protecting and safeguarding the territory,” said the governor, during the Adaptation of the Peace Quadrants in the entity.

Luna recognized the work of security forces in reducing crime, thanks to coordination with the local community and preventive actions carried out in schools, communities and judicial spaces. He highlighted the consolidation of a territorial justice system based on the integration of civil, military and police forces.

He assured that the teams assigned to each municipality are ready to implement the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Interior, Justice and Peace, with the objective of guaranteeing security and peace in the Monagas state.

In this context, an increase in the number of Peace Quadrants was announced from 112 to 199, in coordination with the city's security forces and organized popular power.
