Students and teachers from the National Experimental University of the Arts (UNEARTE) exhibit goldsmithery and jewelry pieces at the sixth National Craft Fair, which is currently being held at the National Art Gallery (GAN), located in Bellas Artes, Caracas, where they show their talent, dedication and the artistic sensitivity that underpins this noble profession.

In this sense, the university exhibition presents a rich diversity of works that combine personal research and solid training processes, including:

  • Samira Sánchez exhibits some joints inspired by her Kariña ancestors.

  • Juan Pablo Banfield (first-semester student) shows delicate brand books worked in brass.

  • Abigail Piñero (Cohort VII) presents an elegant brass ring with gold plating and pearls.

  • Daniela Díaz (Cohort V) exhibits a ring that fuses brass, wood and resin.

  • Reimaris Itanare (Cohort VII) shares pieces of brass jewelry with advanced technical bases.

The exhibition offers the public the opportunity to appreciate the symbolic, technical and cultural value of each piece, as well as the creators' commitment to a profession that transforms metal into narratives of identity, memory and contemporary expression.

With this participation, UNEARTE, with educational and institutional support, reaffirms the role of goldsmithery as a fundamental artistic discipline, where each work is a reflection of collective creation and a projection of the future for Venezuelan art.
