Government evaluates tourism strategies to position Venezuela in the Asian market

The Venezuelan ambassador to the People's Republic of China, Remigio Ceballos, received the Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Leticia Gómez, who evaluated strategies to position Venezuela on the radar of the Asian market.

In this regard, in a publication on the MINTUR website, Ceballos expressed his enthusiasm for this meeting with the minister, to whom he expressed his love and support to establish alliances for the exchange of experiences and to highlight the name of Venezuela, as a multi-destination country.

He also reaffirmed his commitment to the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, to defend the country's sovereignty and peace diplomacy.

Gómez arrived in the province of Hainan, in the People's Republic of China, where the International Travel Mart Fair — Haikou 2025 is taking place from December 17 to 21.

This fair brings together professionals from the hotel and aeronautical sectors, tour operators, cultural and museum industries and providers of digital solutions for tourism.
