Government of Anzoátegui reactivated the radiotherapy service in the Ing. Kléber Ramírez Rojas Oncology Unit

The
Bolivarian Government of the state of Anzoátegui has reactivated the radiotherapy service in the Ing. Kléber Ramírez
Rojas Oncology Unit, located in the Dr. Luis Razetti Hospital Complex in Barcelona.
The activity was
led by the regional president, Luis José Marcano, who pointed out
that this unit has been renovated “with new equipment and modern equipment
to serve the population of Anzoátegui, of the Venezuelan East and of the country.”
This center has a linear
accelerator of advanced European technology, “it is a device with extensive digital
control that allows greater depth of penetration of the
radiation beam, as well as the capture of 3D and 4D volumetric images with greater
precision and approach to injuries, with less impact on healthy tissues”.
He also thanked President
Nicolás Maduro for “supporting this achievement for the oncological services of the Public Health
System in Anzoátegui, an extraordinary advance that
will guarantee patients receive treatment free of charge,
raising their living conditions and taking an important step towards curing cancer.”
