Government of Bolívar advances in comprehensive rehabilitation of the Guasipati aqueduct

With the installation of 240 meters of 20-inch diameter pipes, the comprehensive rehabilitation of the Puente Blanco Guasipati aqueduct in the Roscio municipality of Bolívar state is progressing.

Governor Yulisbeth García explained that the entire water stretch is 15 kilometers long and will serve more than 21,000 inhabitants whose catchment will be the La Mariposa reservoir in the municipality of El Callao, with a production of 300 liters per second for 15 sectors.

García stressed that among the works to be carried out on the aqueduct is the installation of 3 vertical motors and 3 vertical pumps, an electrical panel and the adaptation of areas such as dosing for water purification.

“We are guaranteeing quality basic services to our people to strengthen human cities,” said the governor quoted by the regional press.
