Government of Monagas handed over the field of the Redoma of the rehabilitated UDO

The governor of Monagas, Ernesto Luna, handed over the fully rehabilitated La Redoma court of the Universidad de Oriente (UDO) to the community of the Los Guaritos 3 Channel 90 sector of the Altos Los Godos parish, Maturín municipality.
During the reopening of this sports and social space, the regional president emphasized the importance of investing in sports spaces to promote physical activity, healthy coexistence and the integral development of children, young people and adults.
“This court is not just a space for sports, but a meeting point for the community, a place where values are forged, dreams are built and the social fabric is strengthened. To play sports is to make a homeland,” said the Governor.
Among the improvements made to the court, the placement of the perimeter fencing, lighting, full painting, the basketball rings and boards, as well as the meshes for the soccer arches stand out.
Sports kits were also given to the members of the sector's community council, who will be responsible for distributing these sports equipment to children and young athletes in the community.
