The Spanish Interior Minister, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, raised the number of DANA fatalities to 207 this Saturday night and does not rule out new fatalities, particularly in the Valencian Community, where there is a record of 2,500 calls reporting missing persons.

“The last update I have is 207 victims, although more deaths are expected,” said the minister in an interview collected by Europa Press.
He added, that he has foreseen that, in view of the circumstances and the assessment of experts and technicians, “unfortunately,” there will be more deaths.
On the other hand, the minister stressed that they have expanded all means in the area of citizen security to prevent acts of looting and looting.
