Government of Zulia recovers Vereda del Lago park in Maracaibo

The government of Zulia, together with the mayor's office of the capital, is carrying out the comprehensive rehabilitation of the Vereda del Lago de Maracaibo Park, which, with 46 hectares on the banks of the estuary, is carrying out the comprehensive rehabilitation of the Vereda del Lago de Maracaibo Park.
According to Jeimy Andreína Petit, director in charge of the Vereda del Lago Park Deconcentrated Service, this is “a very deteriorated park, but we work day and night to restore its splendor to this important lung of Maracaibo”.
As for lighting, 55 24-meter-high towers have been recovered, each equipped with six reflectors already operational. Additionally, 48 poles have been installed to illuminate the central island of the main road and the parking lots. Poles have also been placed to illuminate the park's internal roads, the regional press said.

Regarding the railing that borders the banks of the Coquivacoa and that serves as a viewpoint of the lake, Petit reported that of the 1,100 existing linear meters there are only 133 meters left to repair, works that are currently being carried out. Las works also include brocade painting, parking lot demarcation and asphalt repair in specific areas.
