Governor-elect Luis Caldera activated the Cayapa Health Plan in six hospitals in Zulia

The elected governor of the state of Zulia, Luis Caldera, activated this Thursday, May 29, the Cayapa Health Plan, to serve six hospitals in the state in the first phase.
Speaking to Venezolana de Televisión, during a tour of the healthcare centers, she explained that this is a visit to identify the needs of hospitals and to advance the rehabilitation of infrastructures and the optimization of comprehensive care services.
These are the University Hospital; the General Hospital of the South Pedro Iturbe; the Pedro García Clara Hospital; the Dr. Adolfo D'Empaire Hospital; the Hospital de Santa Bárbara and the Binational Hospital of Paraguaipoa .
“We are continuing on this journey through the health of Zulia, yesterday we were at Hospital Universitari or, today at Doctor Pedro Iturbe, accompanied by Deputy Minister of Health, José Miguel Medina and all the staff, the sole health authority of Zulia, the State institutions, to diagnose the missing phases and, of course, that the heroine heroes in white coats of the different services, therefore, continue to bet on comprehensive free care for everyone”, expressed.
The Cayapa Health Plan seeks to strengthen the Regional Public System, through coordination in the area of infrastructure with the state oil company Petrleos de Venezuela (PDVSA), the Corporation for the Development of the Zulian Region (CORPOZULIA) and other institutions of the Bolivarian Government.
The inspections will make it possible to channel, through this inter-institutional synergy, improvements in health centers for the benefit of the people of Zulia, while establishing the regulatory time for officially assuming office.
On the other hand, Caldera, on his social networks, highlighted that “in Zulia, health comes first. With President Nicolás Maduro Moros and the Ministry of Popular Power for Health, we are going to strengthen a system that is humane, free, decent and of quality. This is how the new phase of Zulia begins.”
