Governor-elect of Nueva Esparta: I'm going to keep on the street working with the people

This Friday, May 30, the governor elected by the state of Nueva Esparta, Marisel Velásquez, reaffirmed her commitment to working together with the People for the well-being of all the communities in the entity, in connection with the great victory in the electoral process last Sunday.

“I will always continue to be on the street working with the people, with the Communes, Community Councils and Community Circuits (...) we are already organizing ourselves,” said Velásquez during his telephone contact on the Sin Truco Ni Maña program.

At the same time, he emphasized that one of his main objectives is to promote all the proposals of the Community Circuits to empower their communities.

Regarding the electoral process, she recognized the great participation of Neo-Spartan women and youth. “It was a great Popular Victory and Nueva Esparta is celebrating, it was a monolithic unit (...) of a People that believes in the Revolutionary Project and that believes in President Nicolás Maduro and Commander Hugo Chávez,” he said.
