Governor-elect of Trujillo assured that he will work comprehensively with the Communal Power

This Tuesday, within the framework of the proclamation and award of positions following the elections of governors, deputies and legislators last Sunday, May 25. Gerardo Márquez, winner in the state of Trujillo, thanked him for the position assigned through the vote for Popular Power.

“We have summoned all the social and cultural sectors of the state, and we have congratulated the National Electoral Council (CNE) for its performance on Sunday. The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), we also congratulate the people of Trujillo,” said the elected governor.

He also assured that during the 4 years of government he will be dedicated to empowering the People through community organization, peasants, students and entrepreneurs.

“We thank the opposition candidates for recognizing the results, and we will also call on him to contribute to the country's development,” he stressed.

Gerardo Márquez, with 91.86 percent of the votes, during the great democratic day, the coalition of the Great Patriotic Pole Simon Bolivar won 23 of the country's 24 governorates, demonstrating the support of the people for President Nicolás Maduro.
