Governor of La Guiara announced the construction of a university complex in the entity (+20 universities)

The governor of La Guaira, Alejandro Terán, announced the construction of “a modern infrastructure” so that young people can “continue their university studies”.

Through his Telegram channel, he specified that in this space “the more than 20 universities in the region will come to life and, in addition, the University of Sciences is incorporated”, while noting that this construction is possible “thanks to the President in Charge, Delcy Rodríguez and with an investment of 8 million dollars, the La Guaira University Complex is paying off a historic debt with Guaireña's youth”.

In that sense, he listed the impact of this “mega-work”:

14,783.57 m² intervened over 4 avant-garde floors.

La Guaira has a university population of between 18,000 and 19,000 young people

1,950 students will bring these classrooms to life for every shift.

More than 400 direct jobs generated by activating the local economy in this construction phase.

46 classrooms, 3 conference rooms and a large library.

6 high-tech laboratories.

Auditorium with capacity for 205 people.

Multipurpose court, equipped gym, play area, cafeteria, kitchen and dining room.

It will house 20 public universities.

The National University of Sciences Dr. Humberto Fernández Morán is incorporated: Robotics, Artificial Intelligence Engineering, Data Science, Electromedicine and Biomaterials, among others.
