Governor Rafael Lacava inaugurated the 18th edition of FITVEN 2025

The governor of the state of Carabobo, Rafael Lacava, accompanied by the Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Leticia Gómez, inaugurated the 18th edition of the International Tourism Fair of Venezuela (FITVEN) 2025, which takes place in the historic center of Puerto Cabello, in the state of Carabobo.
Regarding the event, he noted that it constitutes a strategic space to show the world the tourist potential of Venezuela, as well as to promote cultural and economic integration.
Lacava also stated that at FITVEN 2025, “the country shows itself as what it truly is: a nation of opportunities, natural beauty and tourist destinations”.
He stressed that Venezuela tells the world, with facts and with its potential, that what is said about national reality from negative matrices is totally false.
For her part, the Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Leticia Gómez, asserted that FITVEN 2025 in the state of Carabobo represents the true face of the country, thus denying the discrediting campaigns promoted from abroad.
In that regard, he affirmed that "Venezuela builds bridges of connection between countries, not trenches”.
He highlighted that the event has international delegates from multiple countries, including: South Africa, Vietnam, Russia, Cuba and the People's Republic of China.
The strategic actions outlined by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, carried out by the Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism, in coordination with the governor of the state of Carabobo, Rafael Lacava, make FILVEN 2025 a milestone as the most outstanding in the history of this event, to continue to promote Venezuela as a multi-destination country.
