During the water cabinet, the governor of the state of La Guaira, José Alejandro Terán, carried out a review of the status of the different projects of the Concrete Agenda of Action to continue working to improve services in the entity.
Terán indicated that these actions are vindicating the historic right to have access to drinking water, wastewater projects and others for which 160,000 dollars were approved.
The projects include: the construction of the desander and dispenser for the Catia la Mar-Mirabal aqueduct, dismantling, repair and maintenance of the valve system, piping and connections of the Hugo Chávez urban pumping station.
In addition to the maintenance of the Cervecería, El Rincón and La Pólvora water wells, the completion of the El Piache 2 and Punta de Mulatos water well, the construction of a water tank in the La Veguita-Macuto river, installation of a drinking water pipe for the El Niño and El Mar hospitals, among others.
The Governor noted that 18 communal water projects financed by the Community Government Fund were reviewed and have received support from Hidrocapital and the Government of La Guaira, which have a high percentage of progress in their implementation.
He thanked President Nicolas Maduro for so much support for the Guairian people and recognized the work of Carlos Mast Yustiz, Minister of the People's Power for Water Care, for the advances of the great structural project of the Puerto Cruz and Chichiriviche aqueduct, where he is 95% complete, “we are already in the final stretch of that aqueduct and soon we will be giving extraordinary news for La Guaira where we aim to capture at least 600 liters of water per second”.
