Gran Misión Viva Venezuela raises its voice in the face of US threats (+Press Release)

The team behind the Great Mission Viva Venezuela, Mi Patria Querida, issued a statement rejecting recent actions and threats by the United States against President Nicolás Maduro and the country.

The text, released by the Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas, through his Telegram channel, condemned the attack against the country and its cultural wealth.

In addition, he rejected the imperialist onslaught against President Nicolás Maduro, and described these actions as “ruins” and “based on vulgar fallacies”, stating that they come from sectors that seek to dominate peoples through culture.

The promoting team denounced the imposition of a hegemonic and mercantilist cultural model that promotes “dismemory and uprooting”, threatening the cultural diversity of humanity. He also rejected interventionist actions that attack the essence of Venezuelanism, creating narratives that distort reality to strip peoples of their cultural wealth.

For this reason, he reaffirmed his commitment to the President and the nation, and is committed to “redoubling our daily efforts to guarantee the immunity of our girls, boys, young people and all our people against the cultural and ideological poison with which imperialism and its minions intend to subdue us”.
