Guarapiche Tourist Route begins its 4th edition in Monagas

The Guarapiche Tourist Route began its fourth edition in the Cedeño municipality, Monagas state, as part of the activities organized for the Holy Week season; this circuit offers recreational and sports spaces in the Guarapiche resorts of San Félix, El Limón and Maraquero, in Caicara.

The municipal head of Tourism, Sheroky Pabón, indicated that the event has the support of various organizations, such as the Youth of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (JPSUV), the National Recreation Movement and the Municipal Sports Institute (Imderce); which carry out various activities that include sand volleyball, swimming, crossfit, face painting and gymkhanas, among others; this to ensure a safe environment.

In addition, Pabón reported that the Guarapiche Tourist Route is in the process of being validated for certification by the Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism. “Currently, the municipality has two additional routes: The Four Elements and History and Culture of the Caicara Monkey, with the purpose of strengthening the region's tourist offer,” he said.

For their part, Mayor Daniel Monteverde and the Single Tourism Authority of Monagas, Rosy Salazar, accompanied the visitors on the first day of the tour, which began in the San Félix parish. Monteverde highlighted the importance of tourism in the area and underlined the authorities' commitment to providing recreational and recreational spaces for families.

The day runs until Sunday, April 20, with the participation of attendees, who will enjoy the tourist activities of the municipality. The Guarapiche Tourist Route continues to position itself as an attraction for residents and visitors, where regional tourism is promoted with natural areas.
