The Government of Guárico, through the Road Rehabilitation Plan, optimized Roberto Vargas Avenue and Alley No. 2 in the Central Quarter of the Ortiz parish, with the application of more than 130 tons of hot asphalt mixture, said the territorial commissioner of the Ortiz municipality, engineer Melly Villegas .

Villegas, in a video posted on his account on the social network Instagram, highlighted that the work began with discontinuous asphalting on Avenida Roberto Varga s, where the ornamentation and embellishment are also executed.

He indicated that the improvements come after the recovery and replacement of fallen collectors in the area, which were reported and serviced through the 1x10 Good Governance System.

“We are working to guarantee the best traffic conditions for our own and visitors,” he said.

These works were promoted by the governor of the state of Guárico, José Vásquez, who, during his recent visit to Ortiz, approved a series of works in various areas for the benefit of the population.

Vásquez issued instructions to approach the water system for the construction of a barge in the Tiznados reservoir, which will favor the inhabitants of San Fracisco de Tiznados; while in terms of electricity he approved a 50KVA transformer for the Laguna de Pieda community; another 25KVA for Guártico and Cedeño street in San José de Tiznados; and the delivery of 150 luminaires for the Laguna de Piedra and Los Chigüires sectors.

It also approved the rehabilitation of the Henrry de Jesús Neder multipurpose court in the San José de Tiznados parish, as well as the refurbishment of the Doña Josefa Market facilities for the opening of a Guárico Food store in the Ortiz parish and the rehabilitation of the Church of San José de Tiznados.
