The Comptroller General of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Gustavo Vizcaíno, confirmed on Monday his rejection of threats by North American imperialism against President Nicolás Maduro and the Venezuelan people.

During the pronouncement of the Republican Moral Council, the Comptroller repudiated the statements of the representative of the United States Attorney General, Pamela Bondi, and stressed that these are “accusations that are unfounded.”

“From the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic, we give full acceptance to the constitutional president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, in these accusations that this representative of the United States seeks to put a price on the constitutional president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela,” he stressed.

In this regard, I state that “all the Venezuelan people emphatically and categorically reject all these absurd, infamous accusations against the President of the Republic and from the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic we demand the greatest respect of our President of the Republic and the institutions, of our authorities and, above all, of our people.”
