Head of State: 25M is an opportunity to build a new revolutionary majority

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, said that the Bolivarian Revolution is a real force and the upcoming electoral process on May 25 is “an immense opportunity to reactivate the momentum and the construction of a new revolutionary, Bolivarian and forceful majority of the historic Venezuelan block of change and transformation.”

He recalled that in Venezuela, since the arrival of the Bolivarian Revolution, 31 constitutional elections have been held, each with its own characteristics. “We won 29, we are a real force, but each electoral process indicates building a new majority,” he said.

In that regard, he stressed that these legislative elections are a new challenge, of which he is certain, that “it will be a new great victory, all along the lines”, to guarantee the country's stability, peace, independence, sovereignty and progress in Venezuelan economic recovery.

This was stated at the Teresa Carreño Theater, where she led a meeting with candidates from the Great Patriotic Pole Simón Bolívar (GPPSB), running for the next elections of deputies and deputies to the National Assembly (AN).

The head of state reiterated that “every election requires a strategy, proposal, clear discourse and an activation of forces”.

He urged the candidates to commit to the work that is to come, since “the commitment is to help with the advance of the Bolivarian Revolution, and in this way continue to maintain peace throughout Venezuela.”
