Head of State active ODDI across the country

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, activated this Wednesday, January 08, the Integral Defense Management Bodies (ODDI) throughout the national territory.

“The ODDI have been activated to carry out an issue of strategic concept of the nation hand in hand with the popular-civic-military-police fusion for the defense of the Fatherland, sovereignty and peace,” explained the Head of State.

At a meeting held at the headquarters of the Miraflores Palace, the President was accompanied by the military high command, as well as representatives of the civil security forces; the First Combatant of the Republic and deputy of the National Assembly, Cilia Flores; the executive vice-president of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez; the sectoral vice-president of Defense and Sovereignty and Minister of People's Power for Defense, Vladimir Padrino López; the sectorial vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace and Minister of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello.

Also present were the sectoral vice-president of Planning and Minister of the People's Power for Planning, Ricardo Menéndez; the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez; the president of the Supreme Court of Justice, Caryslia Rodríguez; the president of the Republican Moral Council and Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab; the strategic operational commander of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, Domingo Hernández Lárez ; the Minister of Popular Power for Ecosocialism, Josué Lorca Vega; and the Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil Pinto.

“Integration of popular and military power: All popular power integrated, in the perfect fusion, popular, military and police in a single policy,” emphasized the Head of State.
