Head of State appointed work team to study structural plans in the face of rains

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, appointed a team to study structural plans as part of T number six, to be implemented on a national scale, “but in an emerging way in the Andes, which has been one of the regions most affected by climate change.”
In the 84th edition of his program “With Maduro +”, providing an assessment of the deployment of the “Andes 2025" Task Force, it was noted that this year the rains increased by 300%, “as a result of climate change and global warming that has deepened. Northern deniers say it's a lie about climate change, but it's going to explode in the world's climate crisis.”
As a member of the aforementioned team, the Sectorial Vice President of Science, Technology, Education and Health, Gabriela Jiménez, stated that with the arrival of the rains, the Bolivarian Government is ready to continue working for the country and protecting the people.
For his part, the Sectorial Vice President of Planning, Ricardo Menéndez, also a representative of the team, said that all the basins in the border area with the Andes region were activated, which registered a volume of rainfall four times higher than the historical maximum at that time.
He explained that what happened with the rainfall in the west of the country did not increase thanks to the Bolivarian Government's early monitoring of all areas, through prevention and protection plans for the protection of the people.
The Sectorial Vice President of Public Works and Services, Jorge Márquez, also offered an explanation of the work and work that has been carried out in the state of Mérida, specifically in the areas affected by the torrential rains.
In his speech, the Minister of Popular Power for Transport, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, stressed that thanks to the civic-military-popular union, an immediate response has been achieved to the effects caused by the intense rains in the Andean region.
