Head of State appoints new ministers of Ecosocialism and Sports

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, appointed the new ministers of Popular Power for Ecosocialism and for Sports.

The new members of the Executive Cabinet are Ricardo Molina, who now assumes the Ministry of Popular Power for Ecosocialism, and Franklin Cardillo, who will head the Ministry of Popular Power for Sports.

In this context, the Head of State stressed that one of the objectives of the Ecosocialism portfolio is to undertake the sixth transformation of the 7T Plan, and of Sports, to lead the Olympic cycle to Los Angeles and to strengthen sports mass in communes, high schools, schools and universities.

The head of state added that Minister Molina has the mission of leading the battle to mitigate climate changes, which are already a reality in these periods of drought that are being experienced with global warming.

Regarding the sports area, he pointed out that Cardillo must lead the entire process of building and rebuilding quality for coaches from different sports disciplines.
