Head of State: Athletes' training must be strengthened in the country

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, said that the training of the country's athletes must be strengthened, both in Venezuela and abroad.

During the reception ceremony for the athletes of the national softball champion team, the Head of State assured that “you have arrived in the name of an entire country”.

“Where there are technicians of the highest level that we can bring to Venezuela, we will do so to raise the quality of our technicians and advance global scientific knowledge with national experience,” he said.

He also stated the creation of a national professional softball league.
