Head of State celebrated Vinotinto basketball qualification for the 2025 Copa América

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, celebrated through his account on the social network Telegram the classification of the basketball team to the Copa América (AmeriCup 2025).
“A high-profile team, such as our basketball team, which defeated Argentina 3 days ago, and today 23 February in a vibrant match against Chile, achieves a great victory that makes us proud. Congratulations guys!” , wrote the president.
The head of state explained that with this classification this classification gives Venezuela the pass to this sporting event to be held in Nicaragua.
The Vinotinto national team won its pass by beating Chile 73 to 72, after beating Argentina 67-64 three days ago.
