Head of State: Commander Chávez opened participation to all sectors of society

From the populous sector of El Guarataro, in the San Juan parish of Caracas, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, during the relaunch of the Peace Quadrants in Caracas, recognized the political legacy of Commander Chávez, who opened political participation to all sectors of society.

“My generation succeeded in realizing the Revolution because we had a project and a great leader; Hugo Chávez Frías, who, after verifying his illness and the possibility that it would worsen, uttered a phrase that struck people's hearts when Chávez said it's not me, now Chávez is a people,” recalled the head of state in a message to the youth of this community.

He added that this phrase reflects his vision that processes cannot depend on a single person and must be in the hands, heart and mind of a free people so that they cannot be deceived again.
