Head of State commemorated Maundy Thursday

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, commemorated Holy Thursday.

Through his account on the social network X, the president wrote: “Holy Thursday brings the message of humility, it reminds us of the communion of the apostles with Jesus and the gift of his eternal presence, it is a date to sincerely commit ourselves to serving God and fulfilling the commandment to love one another.”

In another message, the head of state exalted the faith of the Venezuelan people, who took to the streets to express their devotion to the Nazarene.

“How beautiful to see the people in the streets demonstrating their faith and devotion to Jesus of Nazareth, it is a time of prayer and joy to nourish our spirit and bring us ever closer to the Creator Father. The people of Venezuela raise their prayers to ask for peace, health and well-being for all!” , he noted.
