Head of State congratulated the president of Mexico after being ratified by judicial authorities

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, congratulated the Mexican people and their president Claudia Sheimbaum, who was proclaimed according to the laws and institutions of that country, after extremist sectors of politics tried to ignore the result in an attempt to subvert order and cause a coup d'etat.

“After the opposition was not aware of the results, the matter went to the Electoral Chamber and as mandated by the Constitution of Mexico, their decision is Holy Word, our respect for Mexican institutions and sovereignty, renewed congratulations to President Claudia Sheimbaum,” reiterated the Head of State.

He also stressed that this type of strategy applied by the extreme right and supported by the owners of Social Media companies, which consists of ignoring the electoral results, was also tried in Brazil, where the judiciary resolved the controversy with the enactment of the winner.
