Head of State denounced Volker Türk for complicity in the face of silence in the face of human rights violations

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, denounced the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk, as one of the accomplices of the destabilizing plans that the extremist national and international right tried to exercise in Venezuela, prior to the Regional and Legislative Elections of May 25.

“They have committed violations against Human Rights and yet they are raising a movement of opinion that is a way of having a story that covers those who move within the country or from abroad,” he highlighted during the 80th edition of his program “Con Maduro+”.

On the other hand, he highlighted the important role of the country's people's forces, military and police forces, because “they saved all of Venezuela from the violence of terrorism and again from the guarimbas.”
