The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, assured that with the illegal deprivation of freedom of Venezuelan migrants in El Salvador, the Head of State of that country, Nayib Bukele, is carrying out a serious crime against humanity.
“These Venezuelans, who are kidnapped, have not been allowed access to a call for their families (...) Salvadoran lawyers who have been hired by their families or to any United Nations Human Rights body (...); because there is no crime there, they are simply kidnapped,” he emphasized.
On the other hand, he also emphasized that in this kidnapping that has been carried out against this group of Venezuelans and Latin Americans, after two months, after their relatives demanded that the Salvadoran president be held, no faith in life has been shown or the list of people who “have been kidnapped there, in an illegitimate and brutal way”.
