This Friday, August 02, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, assured that the extremist right published their farce when referring to the alleged electoral records of the Presidential Election last Sunday, July 28.

“They showed their farce and their fascist show to poison the country with hate and revenge, to divide the country,” he said.

He emphasized that the head of the Venezuela Nuestra Campaign Command, Jorge Rodríguez, “demolished with his own evidence what they call records, but they are battered papers. He demolished them, turned them into mush.”

This was stated by the head of state, in the outdoor spaces of the Miraflores Palace, where he received the Josefa Joaquina Sánchez Women's Movement, who mobilized in defense of peace and in support of respecting the results of the elections issued by the National Electoral Council (CNE).

“Let's continue in the battle for truth, they want to impose a coup narrative, let's maintain the union of Popular Power with military and police power. The perfect union for peace and independence,” he said.
