The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, assured that the Great Mission Viva Venezuela Mi Patria Querida will be a vaccine and antidote for the transculturization of new generations.
“They are afraid of the sparkle in our eyes when we hear our songs, poems and we are capable of being ourselves, rebels and mixed-race people. The best vaccine for these growing children will be the Great Mission Viva Venezuela Mi Patria Querida, so that our boys and girls in every neighborhood, community and corner can sing, dance and play ( ... )”, he said.
During the launch of this new mission, the Head of State specified that “capitalism has always pursued what is the expression of poetry, singing and artistic expressions”.
“An example was the assassination of the poet Pablo Neruda by the Augusto Pinochet dictatorship,” he pointed out and recalled the Venezuelan singer-songwriter Ali Primera.
“Today we remember and commemorate 39 years of the physical game, of the change of landscape of Father Cultor Ali Primera. He was silenced but they couldn't keep him quiet either in life or in death. Ali is alive and present with us! Ali dances and sings with us,” he emphasized.
