The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, assured that Venezuela is building a productive, self-sustained economic culture; with its own efforts that are less and less dependent on the oil rentism of the last 100 years.

Tourism is one of the fundamental engines for freeing ourselves from oil revenues, and investments come from everywhere including countries in the north, south, east and west,” said the president during his Con Maduro+ program.

He stressed the importance of the 103% growth in the influx of international tourists to the country in the first 10 months of the year, which contributes to the accelerated recovery of the sector.

“Our mind is set on building a productive economy integrated with the world, not oil, not dependent and invulnerable to criminal sanctions,” said the Head of State.
